The MCR hosts a number of social events throughout each year, which provide members with an opportunity to get to know one another better. These events can be formal or informal. Examples of events we have put on include games nights, bake-offs, crafternoons, brunches, ice-skating, port and cheese and casino nights (to name just a few!). The Social Chair does their best each year to ensure that there is a broad range of events; hopefully there will be something for everyone.

Suggestions are always welcome! You can also participate in the Social Committee to help organise events!

 

In addition there are plenty of college-wide social events, at which we join the JCR and sometimes the SCR. We also host celebrations for holidays such as Chinese New Year, Halloween, Christmas, Burns Night, etc. There’s always plenty to look forward to in Castle!
